Hey, I’m mom of four, wife of a preacher, lawyer in a small solo practice, and advocate for the cause of life in Vermillion County, Illinois. Originally a native of South Carolina, my family and I have called Danville home since 2013. I’ve come to love the Midwest life of farms and trains (even while dreaming of escape to warm temperatures every single March).

I received my JD from Columbia Law School in 2005. I’ve practiced in Illinois since 2010, serving the legal needs of families, injured or disabled persons, small businesses, and not-for-profit orgs. I’m one of many on the team at local non-profit Women’s Care Clinic of Danville, which serves families during crisis pregnancy and advocates for the lives of the unborn. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given to live out the directive: “Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.” 

In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids play volleyball, basketball, or soccer; reading, playing piano, drinking coffee with my husband Andrew; and planning my family’s next big road trip.
